Smart Lipo

Smart Laser Liposuction was developed and extensively tested in Italy. It is currently the most sought after procedure in the USA where it has FDA approval.

SmartLipo differs from other forms of liposuction because it uses a carefully calibrated laser to dissolve fat cells, which are then naturally drained by the body’s lymphatic system, whereas traditional methods involve sucking fat cells out of the body. Research has shown that, with SmartLipo, little, if any, fat is reabsorbed back into the body.

The small laser can seal blood vessels as it zaps fat, so there is less swelling, bleeding, and bruising than with traditional liposuction. The heat from the laser has a skin tightening effect and stimulates growth of new collagen whilst contracting old collagen fibres.

A very small canula, about the size of an injection needle, is used, so there are no incisions, stitches, or scars. And, because it’s minimally invasive, your recovery is that much faster.

In addition, when you choose SmartLipo you may only need a local anaesthetic, unlike traditional liposuction, so it carries far fewer risks. Recovery time is much shorter, too. Meditours only works with state hospitals that have up-to-date, modern, and hygienic operating theatres, cosmetic surgery departments, post-operative recovery rooms, and fully renovated two and three-bedded private inpatient rooms with en-suite facilities, TV and air conditioning. Most patients only spend one night in a hospital or clinic and find their surroundings more than adequate for their needs.
